Artists' Book

The is my first artists' book which I created during the 2nd half of 2013. The box containing the book is a cigar box with added plywood compartments. The seperate compartments hold lichen, jute, handmade barbed wire, and gum leaves. This project largely drew inspiration from areal photographs taken of my home and the surrounding countryside - incorporating the colours, contours, and rugged, weathered appearance of the land.
